Our dearest Martha lost her fight with cancer on April 10th.
She started rowing at LUC in 2008 and not long after began coaching and helping out with maintenance and repairs. Over the years she refined her skills and was never afraid to learn how to fix something new. She taught innumerable people how to row and drove the trailer around the country while also rowing and racing herself. Her legacy here is present in her care of every single piece of equipment we use.
We are raising funds to buy a boat to name after her and honor her legacy here, let’s see what we can do! Martha would love a new quad so we’re setting our goal at $34k.
Checks avoid processing fees, please make them out to LUC Outreach Foundation and drop them off in the LUC office. We will add that amount to this fundraising page.
